About Me

Welcome to Parlexia.

My name is Andrea Brooks and I am a Polymath. That means I gather knowledge and follow the truth across the boundaries of several different academic disciplines. I read the primary literature, study the fossil record, and track the intersections of deep human history, linguistics, geology, and plasma physics to weave the facts into a single coherent picture.

My research framework is built on the genetic reality that Blackness is the ancestral human condition, exploring the deep time migrations and geomagnetic events the mainstream narrative has overlooked.

Parlexia is the way I see the world.

In 2025 I started building a fully functional constructed language that I named Parlexian. It is built on a mathematical grid of consonant roots designed to make the mechanics of meaning completely visible. From the language a cosmology naturally emerged, and I call that Parlexia. It is a rich cosmology that maps the undivided field of pure potential into the living architecture of the world.

I bring my entire self to this work.

I was born in Boston in 1980 to parents who were both born in Honduras. I trace my lineage through Jamaica, the beautiful Bay Islands of Honduras, Belize, and El Salvador. Through my work I honor an amazing Obeah man who stands at the head of my family line, my great-grandfather Samuel.

In my home state of Massachusetts, I charted my own academic path through university classes at Brandeis, Harvard, Mass Bay, and UMass. I built my expertise directly from source material. I am the mother of my five favorite people. I have three beautiful daughters and two handsome sons. I taught my children to read when they were three and four years old because education is so important to me.

I advocate fiercely for human equality, and I challenge social hierarchies because I see the harm they do to the human spirit.

I speak to you as a Provocative Parrhesiatic Polymath. The parrhesia comes from my family and our deep commitment to speaking the truth boldly. The provocation comes from my firm refusal to accept historical erasure. The polymathic approach gives me the diverse tools to build something entirely new.

You have a few ways to explore this work, depending on what brings you here:
